Travel

Rail

Oxford Railway Station is the major train station in Oxford, with regular and direct services to London Paddington (using Great Western Railway) & London Marylebone (using Chiltern Railways). It is close to the centre of Oxford and is approximately 20 mins walk to both Merton College (day 1 venue) and St Antony's College (day 2 and 3 venue). Chiltern Railways service from London Marylebone also stops at Oxford Parkway Station to the north, which is accessible via the 7, 2A and 500 bus service.

Bus

Gloucester Green Bus Station is the final stop for most coach journeys in and out of Oxford. It is in the centre of Oxford and is approximately 15 mins walk to the conference venues and 10 mins walk from Oxford railway station.

  • The Airline is a direct and regular coach service between Oxford - Gatwick and Oxford - Heathrow [all terminals]. See www.airline.oxfordbus.co.uk for fares, timetables and further information.
  • The X90 is a direct and regular coach service between Oxford and London Victoria. See www.x90.oxfordbus.co.uk for stops, timetables and further information.
  • The Oxford Tube is a direct and regular coach service between Oxford and London Victoria. See www.oxfordtube.com for stops, timetables and further information. Please note: Though the service is named the Oxford Tube, it is in fact a coach and not a train that links directly to the London Underground system! The street stops, however, have been positioned near to the entrances of London Underground stations.

Car

Parking near the conference venues is limited, but there are parking facilities in the centre of town. There are also several park and ride sites with bus transfers to the city centre. Visit the city council website for more information.
